Collins Abiodun Adeyemi, a former chairman of the Performing Musicians Employers' Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Abuja chapter is dead.
Adeyemi recently celebrated his 18th weeding anniversary was said to have slumped at his residence on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
"It is true he slumped and died. He was at home in his Abuja residence when it happened but before his wife could get him to the hospital, he was gone.
"His death is a very sad one. We are meeting later in the day to deliberate on the next step," said Late Adeyemi's close friend.

"Adeyemi told me he was not feeling too well. We did not even know he would make it to the event but he did; only for me to get a call early this morning that Adeyemi is gone.
"If someone as hardworking and persevering like Adeyemi can die untimely, then I wonder what we are struggling for in life,"he said.
Adeyemi made his last public appearance at the 6th edition of the African Achievers Awards on the Saturday, July 8, 2016 in Abuja.
