Former Triple MG singer Emma Nyra has come out to address the allegations being leveled against her by a producer named OD Beats.
Samson Ohda known as OD Beats had accused Emma Nyra for stealing his beat for her latest single 'Work hard' the lead song off her debut EP “Love vs Money Vol. 1.”
OD Beats is claiming to have originally created the beat to the song but was subsequently denied payment and credit. He went on to release a statement along with a clip of the said studio session with the singer.
Pulse earlier today reached out to Emma Nyra's team to share their side of the story. According to her reps, Emma wrote and composed the song, and took it to OD Beats for production. He was paid for his services, but produced it half-way, and failed to finish the project after collecting money in full.
“Emma paid him in full for his time and the song, but he failed to finish it, so she had to go pay extra money to another producer to complete the job. His main problem right now is that she went to another producer, when he couldn’t deliver.” Our source said.
Reacting further, Emma Nyra plans to commence legal actions against the producer.

Pulse was also able to reach the singer directly. In her response, she had this to say: " I have been patient with those who have been attacking me for years. Is it because I am a woman? Do you think I am weak and do not have a voice? I have my own self-funded company. I write and compose MY OWN music with my team before I enter the studio as well as with any writer I may work with. I ALWAYS conduct business honestly with ALL of my staff membersn and anyone who renders me a service. You should know by now that I am not weak. You cannot prey on me just because I am a woman. This is the #YearOfTheWOMAN. I speak for all women when I say that we should no longer take any form of defamation sitting down. Any one, and any company, trying to defame me henceforth will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. You will see the power of God and His love work through me this year and forevermore. This is the first and last time I am addressing anything like this ever again. Now back to the music! NyraMusicMonday in full effect! StopVictimizingWomen WORKHARD and MAKEMONEY! LoveVersusMoney YearOfTheWOMAN."
Nyra is set to release her forthcoming EP titled “Love Vs Money”. This will be her first body of work, and it comes a year after her departure from Ubi Franklin’s Made Men Music Group.
